If I could change the world in one way, I think I would change the amount of fast food places around the world. By changing it, I mean I believe that we should reduce the amount of fast food restaurants around the world. These fast food places mainly include; McDonalds, Wendys, Burger King, Arbys, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and Taco Bell. In almost every town you can find some or maybe even all of these restaurants. The food that these places serve is said to not be the healthiest food. Although, I do still eat my share of fast food when I want to. I believe that there are just too many fast food places out in the world today that are causing a lot of people to become overweight. The obesity amount across the world has grown over time. More people have become lazy and then get hungry so they result in just getting fast food. Constantly eating fast food and then being lazy throughout the day is not good for the body. The body needs some type of constant exercise. Putting the fats and unhealthy foods into your body just from one meal cannot be good. Most fast food places serve both breakfast and lunch/dinner. With these options to choose from, more people will choose to get fast food for a quick meal when they do not have enough time to cook a meal, or maybe when they even do not have food in their house. A lot of teenagers nowadays eat fast food whenever they want. Eating what you want as a teenager is actually normal because most do not think too much about it. Although, I think that everyone should at least think about what they are eating because you could be hurting your body by not eating healthy in some way. Like I said before, fast food is not healthy. There are a great amount of calories in each food at each fast food restaurant. Most people do not worry about their calorie take in which can later cause them to be obese because of the amount of food they may eat. Becoming obese may start from the type of food you eat, the amount of food you eat, and when you eat. The type of food you eat should be healthy. It is okay to eat some unhealthy foods once in awhile but I believe that you should make up for it by at least eating something healthy during the day. Not many people change the amount of food they eat. Usually when someone is hungry, they eat whatever they can. Thus, causing many people to settle with fast food. Most people try to eat three meals a day if they can. Also, most of these people do not keep three course meals of food in their houses so they result in getting fast food for at least one meal choice. I think everyone should focus on the amount they eat instead of having their meals and then snacking later on. Those extra snacks and cravings, that are usually fast food, can result in gaining unwanted weight. As for when to eat, I think everyone should know that it is not good to eat after 9 pm. Usually when people eat after 9, it is fast food because most of those people are teenagers. Most teenagers stay up past midnight and get the munchies so they get the fast food that they want. Eating this type of food so late is not good for the body because you do not get to work off the calories as you could during the day. I have said that I would change the world by reducing the amount of fast food restaurants around the world. I think having some of these fast food places is okay, but there are just too many. Reducing the amount of fast food places can help reduce the obesity rate around the world. People on their own will just have to keep up with their physical activities as well. Changing the world this way may not be easy but I do think it is possible.
