Michael P. Richardson graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Law summa cum laude in 2012. While attending law school, he served as a Notes and Comments Editor for the Law Review, was a member of the Trial Practice Competition Team, and was selected as a Corporate Law Fellow. Prior to law school, Mr. Richardson graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he majored in Integrated English Language Arts Education and worked as a student teacher at a high school in West Chester.
Before joining Robert A. Klingler Co., L.P.A., Mr. Richardson practiced with two of the largest law firms in Cincinnati, representing individuals and businesses of all sizes, primarily on contractual matters. His experiences ranged from negotiating confidentiality agreements for individual employees to structuring multi-million-dollar loans. Mr. Richardson has published articles on evidentiary issues and business litigation, and his work has been referenced by several state and federal courts.
Mr. Richardson is licensed to practice in the state courts of Ohio, and his practice is focused exclusively on civil litigation. He primarily works with individuals who have been wrongfully terminated, harassed, or retaliated against in the workplace, and he has also represented clients litigating personal injuries, contractual disputes, and complex financial matters. Combining a thorough understanding of the law with an in-depth review of each client’s unique situation, Mr. Richardson works with his clients to attain the result that will be best for them—whether it’s reached at the negotiating table or in the courtroom.
